Law Enforcement Guidelines

LoveUIDo cooperates with law enforcement investigations while protecting our members' privacy.

Requesting member records

We disclose member records only in response to valid legal process — a subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued with proper jurisdiction — served to legal@loveuido.app. Requests should identify the requesting agency, the responsible officer, the specific records sought, and the legal basis. We verify all requests before responding and limit disclosure to what the process lawfully requires.

Preservation requests

Upon receipt of a valid preservation request, we will preserve identified records for 90 days, renewable, pending issuance of legal process.

Emergency disclosure

Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent death or serious physical injury — including cases involving the exploitation of a child — we may disclose limited information to law enforcement without legal process, consistent with applicable law.

Child safety

We report apparent child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.

Member notification

We may notify members of requests for their records unless prohibited by law or court order, or where notification risks harm to a person or an investigation.

Non-U.S. requests

Agencies outside the United States should proceed via mutual legal assistance treaty or letters rogatory.
